Esau’s Pottage

1 c. dry lentils
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
3 c. cold water
2 tbsp. soy sauce or Bragg Liquid Aminos
1 tbsp. nutritional yeast flakes
1 c. cooked brown rice
2 small chopped onions
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. chopped black olives


COOK lentils and rice in water until almost tender. STEAM onions, and ADD with olives
to cooked lentils. ADD soy sauce, garlic powder, and more water if necessary. ADD
nutritional yeast flakes, rice, and salt just before serving.
